Kazakhstan Increased Cement Exports in January-November 2020 by 16.1 %
In January-November 2020, the volume of exports of cement products from Kazakhstan increased by 16.1 % compared to January-November 2019, up to 1.89 million tons. The export value for the same period also increased by 16.1 % and amounted to US$ 95 million. The main importers of cement from the Republic of Kazakhstan are Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Uzbekistan imported 1.21 million tons of cement from Kazakhstan, which is 17.4 % more than in the same period in 11M 2019. Import value rose by 21.4 %, up to US$ 62.82 million.
Kyrgyzstan imported 414,000 tons of cement from Kazakhstan, which is 18.1 % more than in 11M 2019. The cost of imports rose by 17.9 %, up to US$ 18.22 million.
Russia imported 265,200 tons of cement from Kazakhstan, which is 8.9 % more than in 11M 2019. Import value fell by 1.7 %, down to US$ 13.97 million.
