The Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov estimated the construction progress of a cement plant in Dubensky district, according to the press center of the head of the republic.
Magma Group of Companies started construction of a dry process cement plant in 2022, the construction project is scheduled for five years. Its overall cost is estimated at 200 million dollars. The plant will create 120 high-paid jobs with an average salary of 110 thousand rubles per month.
"The production capacity of the plant will be 1,200 thousand tons of cement per year. This is enough to cover the demand of construction projects within a radius of 400-500 kilometers. One of the energy sources for the cement plant will be alternative fuel. A production line for it is also scheduled to be set up in Mordovia," the report says.
The main supplier of equipment is a manufacturer from China. Now specialists from China and Turkey are working at the construction site together.
