Commissioning a new line at OAO Shchurovsky Cement

On July 13th, 2011 at OAO Shchurovsky Cement that is part of the Swiss Holcim Group, in Kolomna, the Moscow Region, a new dry process cement production line was inaugurated. The opening ceremony was attended by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey. After commissioning of the new line instead of two wet process production lines, the capacity of the plant has increased from 1.1 to 2.1 Mt of cement per year.
