Properties of Portland cements with partial substitution of gypsum for limestone
The article presents the results of laboratory production and standard tests of Portland cements in which natural gypsum was replaced with limestone. It was established that, at production of PC 500-D0, one can replace 50% of natural gypsum by limestone without any substantial change of the standard properties of cements, while replacement of natural gypsum with limestone in PC 400-D20 leads to a substantial decrease in cement activity.Author: V.A.
