Recovery of fuel from various wastes

The article describes one of the projects of Vecoplan AG (Germany), which among other things recycles waste of different origin for recovery of calorific components and production of RDF that can be used to replace part of fossil fuels in cement production. The field of competence of the company includes design and development, manufacturing, commissioning, service and maintenance of both individual units and complete process lines for preparation of RDF at existing facilities or on dedicated sites. The case discussed as an example refers to the process chain of RDF production from municipal solid waste with high moisture content and heterogeneous industrial waste at a plant in Bulgaria.
