Waste gas heat recovery for electric power generation
A promising way to increase the efficiency of cement production and reduce operation costs is to use low-grade heat to generate electricity for the factory’s own needs using modern technologies based on the Organic Rankine cycle (ORC). The article describes the arrangement and operating principle of waste gas heat recovery systems and the design of such a system, installed by CTP Team S.r.l. (Italy) at the Çimko Narli factory in Turkey.Author: M. Rovetta |
