Holcim announces its financial investment in Magment, to expand their existing collaboration in the breakthrough field of road-based electric charging solutions. Together the companies have jointly developed an innovative concrete formulation enabling wireless inductive charging technology.

Holcim has successfully completed the acquisition of SES Foam LLC, the biggest independent spray foam insulation company in the US with 2022 (est.) net sales of USD 200 million. SES has a track record of double-digit growth, with advanced energy-efficiency and bio-based solutions for new and green retrofitting projects.

During the first six months of 2022, cement and clinker sales volumes, amounting to 5.4 million tonnes, dropped by 0.8% compared to the same period of 2021. The decline is mainly attributable to the
performance of Turkey, China and Denmark.

Revenue in the first half of 2022 increases significantly by 12% to €9,950 million

Group’s consolidated sales totalled €1,755 million, up from €1,560 million in the first six months of 2021, representing a +12.5% rise on a reported basis and a +14.5% increase at constant scope and exchange rates.

The management of Nigeria’s second-largest cement manufacturing company, BUA Cement Plc, said it has commenced the process of obtaining loans for the expansion of its integrated plant in Kalambaina, Sokoto State.

Holcim has reported record sales on CHF14,681m (US$15,273m) in the first half of 2022, marking a 16.9 per cent increase YoY, driven by sales growth in all segments.
