At a meeting of the Council for the Development of the Building Materials Industry under the Uzsanoatkurilishmaterialari Association, the draft Strategy was discussed for the Development of the Building Materials Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzsanoatkurilishmaterialari Association, the international consulting company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Uzpromstroybank.

During the video conference held on April 30, 2021, chaired by the President of the country, dedicated to the discussion of measures for the development of local industry, as well as in the Decree of the Head of State dated June 9 of this year "On Additional Measures to Increase the Industrial Potential of the Regions", a number of tasks aimed at the development of industry of building materials of the republic were identified.

In particular, the Council for the Development of the Building Materials Industry, attracting foreign experts, is currently working on the development of a strategy for the development of the building materials industry.
