Limestone deal signed for Mega cement plant in India
GCPL (GoldCrest Cement Private Limited) is in the process of setting up a mega integrated cement manufacturing plant in India.
The greenfield project shall have a clinker capacity of 3.5 Mta capacity and a cement capacity of 4.5 Mta.
The cement plant is expected to be completed by March 2027. Also, a long-term agreement for the supply of 150 Mt limestone over a period of 40 years from a mine has been made. The mine is situated in Lakhpat Taluka of Gujarat’s Kutch District.
