New Cement Plant Opened near Erbil
The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, opened the new Dabin Cement Factory and Power Station.
Previously we wrote about the beginning of the construction.
The plant, near Safeen Mountain in Erbil Governorate, has a capacity of 2.1 million tons of cement annually, and can output 52 MW of electricity.
It has created more than 1,200 jobs.
Construction of the plant started in June 2023.
