President of Turkmenistan inagurates second line of Lebap cement plant
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the inauguration ceremony of the second line of Lebap Cement Plant with annual capacity of 1 million tons of cement.
The launch of the new production facility aims to meet the growing demand for high quality cement in the country's active construction industry.
In February 2013, the first line of Lebap Cement Plant was launched 350 kilometers from Turkmenabat city. The second line of the plant was built by Türkmen enjam economic society. The industrial giant is equipped with the latest technologies from the world's leading manufacturers, meeting high quality standards.
The project implementation provided full automation of production processes and comfortable working conditions. Special attention is paid to the sustainability of production. Emissions of harmful substances are significantly lower than the permissible norms due to the new powerful filters.
The plant's location near the raw materials deposits will ensure uninterrupted process and reduce production costs. A laboratory and a technical control department have been set up for quality control, and there is also a repair shop.
The new plant will guarantee highly productive, cost-efficient and sustainable cement production, which is essential for Turkmenistan's construction industry.
