Sagar Cements increases cement grinding capacity in India
Sagar Cements' subsidiary, Sagar Cements (M) Private Limited (SCMPL), has successfully commissioned and commenced commercial operations of an additional cement grinding capacity of 0.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) at its plant in Jeerabad, Madhya Pradesh.
With the commissioning of the new unit, SCMPL's total cement grinding capacity has increased from 1.0 MTPA to 1.5 MTPA.
As a result, the total cement capacity of the Sagar Cements group now stands at 11.0 MTPA.
