Shree Cement commissions 3 MTPA grinding facility in UAE

Shree Cement has commissioned a 3 MTPA cement grinding facility at its subsidiary Union Cement Company in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, following an investment of AED 115 million (approximately INR 3 billion).

The new facility increases the company’s cement capacity in the UAE from 4 MTPA to 7 MTPA, bringing its total production capacity to 76.3 MTPA. It is equipped with a vertical roller mill (VRM), integrated grinding and separation systems, modern material handling infrastructure and advanced dust collection systems designed to improve energy efficiency and operational reliability.

The company also reported an installed green power capacity of 634.5 MW, with renewable energy accounting for 66% of its total energy mix in Q1 FY2027.
