Pioneering pyrosystem delivers energy efficiency.

FLSmidth has developed a unique dual pyroprocessing system allowing the LSR Group cement plant, situated in Slantsy, Leningrad Region, to utilise up to 50 % limestone, which is a by-product of oil shale enrichment at the local plant. Using innovative technology, the LSR-Cement plant is one of the most energy efficient in the world and has the potential to go even further. The implementation of automatic monitoring of emissions makes it possible for the plant to meet the European ecological standards.
