Equipment monitoring.

Online performance monitoring requires an information infrastructure capable of receiving data in real time from multiple parameter control systems, and support the sorting of information about the equipment as a scalable structure. This structure must handle multiple prediction rules used to determine which equipment needs to be serviced. The rules themselves should be continually tested, evaluated and improved. The article describes how a system of equipment monitoring with the continuous improvement of the maintenance system can be implemented.
