Effective technical solutions for refractory linings of rotary kilns

The composition and properties of refractory materials produced by OAO Borovichi Refractories Plant (OAO BRP) for lining rotary kilns were analyzed. Refractory products of KVKC brand were developed for the transition zone of clinker kilns, for service under high caustic pressure — mullite silica products with the addition of silicon carbide. A design of energysaving two-layer lining for rotary lime kilns is described, developed on request of OAO Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, in which, in particular, specially designed aluminum silicate products of EFDC and EFMC brands are used.
