Use of waste glass as partial substitute for cement in sand-cement mortars
This study looked at the properties of concrete incorporating waste glass as partial substitution for Portland cement content. The waste glass material used was obtained solely from green glass cullet ground to similar fineness as the cement. The results show clearly that glass powder enhances the compressive strength and other properties of concrete products if used at the right level of replacement.Author: S.O. Nwaubani |
