Cement markets of Belgium and the Netherlands

A survey of cement markets in Belgium and the Netherlands is provided. The growth of the Belgian market in recent years is in contrast to the significant decline in the Netherlands market. In the Dutch market the proportion of imports is much higher than in Belgium. In 2000—2013 both markets have experienced substantial structural changes. The price of cement has recently been going down.
