Production and uses of cast chains for rotary kiln chain curtains

The issues of production and operation of cast chains for chain curtains of cement rotary kilns produced by the Zlatoust Metaplast foundry (ZLZ Metaplast) since 1998 are discussed. Further improvement of such chains through the selection and development of new materials for the links and changes in their configuration is described.
