Cement industry in France

Information on the corporate structure of the French cement industry, characterized by a small number of holding companies, is provided, and the data on production, consumption, exports and imports of cement are given. The use of process fuel and mineral additives in the cement industry, the range of products, and methods of product shipment are discussed. It is expected that in 2012 the situation in the construction sector will allow the cement industry to compensate for the previous losses related to the financial and economic crisis.
