Cement silo with a central cone

Requirements placed on high-performance cement silos are discussed. The central cone concept is explained, the design of a multiple-chamber silo is described, and case studies of silo use in the cement industry of North and South American countries are cited. The advantages of silos with a central cone are their reliability, performance, safety of operation, easy adaptability of the design to the customer’s individual needs.
