Effect of barite wastes on grindability of clinker rich in magnesium oxide

It is known that clinker containing more than 3% of MgO shows a high resistance to grinding. If barite wastes are added to the raw mix, such clinker will be easier to grind. The duration of grinding is thus reduced, which is true both for the regular clinker and clinker with higher belite content.
