Requirements for the granulometric composition of Portland cement used to manufacture precast concrete according to the low-heat technology

In the worldwide practice of precast concrete industry, there is a trend to reduce the temperature of isothermal heating during concrete steam curing, which is associated not only with energy saving during steam curing, but also with the requirements to enhance the concrete durability. A comparative evaluation of a range of Portland cements with different particle size was made in order to obtain data on the required strength of concrete after steam treatment with a low temperature isothermal exposure.
