Modernization of the separator design

In February 2012 at one of the mills of the cement plant in Schelklingen, Germany, owned by Heidelberg Zementwerk AG, during the maintenance of the equipment the third generation QDK separator by Christian-Pfeiffer was upgraded. The separator basket, louver girth and air seals were replaced. As a result, the production of CEM II/A-LL 32,5 R cement, the main product of the grinding plant, rose by more than 14 %.
