A significant increase in plant capacity in Turkey

When it comes to making decisions on modernization of cement plants in order to maintain their competitiveness, the decisive factors are in-depth knowledge and experience, and use of innovative technologies. At the Cimentas-Trakya cement plant in Turkey, the modernization led by the Danish FLSmidth, helped to significantly reduce costs and increase the production capacity of the enterprise, with the downtime reduced to a minimum. Close cooperation between Cimentas and FLSmidth provided for a fast return on the project and an increase in the overall production capacity of the plant by 82 %.
