Defining the grinding parameters of vertical mills

Production of mineral materials with pre-set, usually ultra-small particle sizes (functional minerals) with minimum power consumption plays an increasingly important role in the European market. In this area, the use of roller mills is a forward-looking technology. The necessary parameters for these grinding mills are usually determined by extensive testing to achieve the required performance in a competitive environment. Modern planning of experiments and test scores help to simplify this process, making it more economical. In this area, the Austrian CEMTEC cooperates with Montanuniversitaet Leoben, Austria, developing efficient technologies.
