Improved kiln burners

Improvements made by Austrian Unitherm Cemcon to its M.A.S. rotary kiln burners, aimed at optimizing the combustion of solid secondary fuels with low NOx emissions, raising the burner efficiency and facilitating its maintenance, are considered. Several examples of successful use of the improved M.A.S. burners at cement plants in Turkey and Germany are described.
