In the second part of the article on the optimization of combustion using the aerodynamic simulation a case study of substitution of natural gas with fuel from waste is discussed. In addition, recommendations related to burning of different fuels are provided together with calculations that illustrate the potential for improving the performance of cement plants using the simulation results.
