Control of geometrical characteristics of rotary kilns

A coordinate-identification technique was proposed for solving the problems involving determination of the geometrical parameters and alignment of rotary kilns. Specific examples are cited to describe the sequence of solving typical problems, the devices and software applied. A contactless dynamic alignment technology is suggested for studying the parameters of a rotary kiln in operation.
