Upgrading the recuperators at Voskresensky cement plant

The article reviews the requirements placed on the Voskresensky cement plant cooler recuperator upgrading carried out by the Spanish company Fundiciones del Estanda. It provides the parameters taken into account while redesigning the rigging, and describes its design features. As a result of the upgrading, the clinker temperature at the outlet from the recuperators, at a kiln output of 600 tpd, was reduced from 350-400°C to 220°C. Other performance characteristics of the cooler were improved too.
