Portland cement-based materials without macrodefects

Macro-defect-free (MDF) materials and technologies have been originally studied in systems of high alumina cements with polyvinylalcohol/acetate or in systems of Portland cement with polyacrylamide. The high alumina system has been reported as promising but exerts an economical disadvantage.
