Bag filters for gases with high concentration of abrasive dust

The article describes bag filters with pulsed regeneration of filter sleeves (developed by ZVVZ – Enven Engineering a.s., Czech Republic) for single-stage purification of gases with high concentration of abrasive dust. The filters are economical from the viewpoint of power consumption and simple to service. Their dust entrapment efficiency coefficient is as high as 99.999%. An example is given of successful installation of such a filter at the HeidelbergCement cement plant in the town of Mokra in Czech Republic. Its key technical parameters are provided.
