Methods to determine fineness and grindability

The methods for determination of the cement grindability and fineness have been described. Fineness is to be expressed through surface area or particle size distribution. Three methods for determination of grindability are given – those by Zeisel, Bond and Hardgrove. The results obtained by these methods are not strictly comparable.
