The cement sustainability initiative: focus on safety

The activities of the organization “Initiative for sustainable development of cement production” (CSI) in the region of the health and safety protection in the cement industry are considered. The effective systems of measurement, monitoring and reporting on measures aimed at the situation improvement have been established. The taken measures allowed reducing the injury rate in the companies – CSI members significantly.
