Installation of an electrostatic precipitator on the rotary kiln

The article covers the start-up of a new electrostatic precipitator installed on the rotary kiln at OAO Novotroitsky cement plant. The ESP design and operating principle are discussed and its technical data are provided. Its commissioning will allow reducing dust emissions by 2–3 times.
