Application of a new filtering material in bag filters

In order to satisfy the requirements for purification of kiln exhaust gases when burning alternative fuels, use is made of fabric bag filters. The article characterizes the new filter cloth produced by Donaldson Membranes Company (Great Britain) and provides the results of its application in a bag filter installed at the Ketton cement plant owned by Castle Cement.
