Increasing the production capacity and efficiency of a kiln

The article cites the results of reconstruction of a dry kiln with increasing its design capacity from 800 tpd to 2,000 tpd at a plant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The design and supply of the main equipment were executed by Intercem Engineering GmbH, Germany and its parent company Transorga Cement AG, Switzerland.
The time of implementation of the project was 17 months. The kiln was shut down for redesign for 10 weeks.
