Eliminating downtime
Downtime is defined as an event in a process where production is lost.Unscheduled downtime events are undesirable. This article examines the importance of eliminating downtime and how continuous improvement methodologies, such as `Six Sigma`, and visualisation tools can dramatically reduce downtime occurrences.
