Firing of high-magnesia rock to obtain a construction-purpose binder.

On the basis of a comprehensive study of the chemico-mineralogical structure of magnesia rocks from various deposits, the article develops their firing parameters for obtaining a construction-purpose binder. It is established that the firing mode of magnesia rock to a substantial degree depends on the phase composition and impurity minerals.
