Siemens solutions for effective ESP modernisation

The article is devoted to the problems of ESP modernisation.
The author raises urgent questions of gas purification. Along with the standard approaches. it considers an alternative approach to modernisation of Siemens ESPs. It cites an example of successful implementation of a project that applies this approach and thus ensures saving of electric power and reduction of CO2 emissions. A brief description is given of the Siemens equipment for modernisation of the control system of SIFUPIC F electrofilters. The article points out the advantages of PIC410F converter based on IGBT transistors (bipolar transistors with an insulated gate).
