The influence of the degree of hydrophobicity on the physical-mechanical properties of cement and cement grout

The article presents the results of an investigation of the hydrophobic cement obtained by adding a water-repelling admix. A study was made of the admix effect on the cement particle-size distribution, water vapour sorption capacity and matrix strength properties are also concerned.
