The first operating experience with a new multi-section silo for hard-to-handle raw meal.

Polysius AG (Germany) developed, manufactured and tested multi-section silos for the preparation of raw meal from variegated (in terms of their chemical composition) materials.
By making use of silos of such design, one can obtain raw meal of the required composition while using materials with high segregation coefficients. The industrial tests of the new multi-section silo system demonstrated their efficiency.
