Ukrainian cement industry in the first half of 2006.

The 1st half of the year on the whole demonstrated positive dynamics of development in the sector. The growth of production in April, May and June compared to the same months of the last year, the structure of cement and the share of its consumption by every Ukrainian region are shown in Table 1.The data on cement and clinker output by the country's enterprises in the first 4, 5 and 6 months of 2006 are presented in Table 2 in comparison with the corresponding periods of 2005.
