Kovako Materials Handling company

The article presents the history of creation and description of the products of Kovako Company founded in the Netherlands in 1979 as a manufacturer of pneumatic unloading systems for cement from ship to storage. Kovako expanded its potential by becoming a part of FLSmidth Group in the 1990-s.Today Kovako offers a full range of standard pneumatic ship unloaders covering ship sizes from 300 dwt up to 45.000 dwt and nominal unloading capacities from 170 tph up to 475 tph. Combined with its affiliation to the FLSmidth Group of companies Kovako is able not only to supply pneumatic unloading equipment for heavy powders, but the full variety of equipment for material handling in the ports, making it unique in its ability to address the needs of the client from his stand point of view and not from a limited scope of supply.
