Eco-protective properties of cement concrete

The article cites the results of research into the absorbability of solid inorganic waste of the building industry in relation to heavy metals. It is shown that concrete and foam concrete waste possesses sorption ability in relation to ions of iron (Ill) and are capable of neutralizing aggressive acid environments. The sorptive power of a material increases after preliminary calcination of the material up to 200°c.
