Phase composition and microstructure of porous cement stone

The article cites the results of comprehensive studies of the hydration products of cements and clinker minerals mixed with various foaming agents. It is shown that various foaming agents affect the hydration processes and its products microstructure in different ways. The peculiarities of the microstructure explain the lower strength of the concretes mixed with synthetic foaming agents.
