The plant laboratory in a market economy

This is a review of the main ideas of the presentations made at the 21st All-Russia (5th International) Consultation of plant laboratory heads at cement plants. Special attention is given to the priority of the manufacture of the products that meet the consumers' demands. It reviews the basic chemical & technological techniques that assure the production of special high-brand cements. It also defines the non-standard cement characteristics that affect the quality of concrete.
