Optimum refractory lining for rotary kilns with high loads

The composition, properties and advantages of new refractory chromium-free bricks PERILEX® CF developed by the German company Refratechnik Cement GmbH of the European magnesium agglomerate and pleonastic fused spinel were examined, and PERILEX® 80 refractory bricks with a reduced chromium content. PERILEX® CF bricks were tested with numerous linings and showed promise for installation in rotary cement kilns.
