Properties of cements containing stored granulated blast furnace slag.

The effect of storage of granulated blast furnace slag (BFS) on the properties of slag Portland cement produced with it was examined. According to the results of lab research and tests in the production environment, with a comparable grain size distribution and a constant fineness of BFS one should not expect a significant change in the reactivity and strength of the slag Portland cement.
