High-Dust SCR Technology
The paper describes the experience of commissioning of the system for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides (SCR) in dust-loaded kiln gases in cement production. The operation of the newly installed reactor revealed a number of nuances affecting the efficiency of the plant. In several years these defects have been successfully eliminated, allowing the SCR reactor to take the place of the existing selective non-catalytic reduction plant (SNCR), which significantly reduced emissions of NOx and ammonia into the air.Author: D.
